By the end of the course, the participants would be able to recognize the safety & health hazards in shipyard work, know the preventive measures to be adopted, and the importance of observing safety signs and safe work procedures. The course also aims to educate workers on their rights and responsibilities.

Shipyard Safety Induction Course is a mandatory Workplace Safety & Health training course for all workers working in the shipbuilding and ship repairing industry.

The trainees should be able to read and understand the registered course language.

The safety pass that is issued to a successful participant for the course is valid for 2 years. If the students working in Singapore more than 6 years based on the “Workers Training Record” we will issue the safety pass with either 4 years or 2 years.
